Shih Tzu puppies should not just be puppies born by two dogs. A good breeder wants to maintain the integrity and personality of a true Shih Tzu. We breed only purebred Shih Tzu’s, chosen also for their temperament and personality. The desire is to have a pet that loves you, is affectionate, yet fun and cute. Once puppies are born we socialize them and interact with them to help them adjust to things like grooming and nail clipping. We teach them potty training and obedience as well. A Shih Tzu can be stubborn. Teaching them obedience from the puppy stage is a must.
